.Declan Aungier: Accordionist.

Declan has been with Café Orchestra since February 2004, he began playing accordion at nine years of age and became a professional musician at twenty-one.
Before joining Café Orchestra he spent many years accompanying Irish artists at home and overseas.
Declan began his musical studies with the Piano accordion, he is also a very competent pianist and guitarist.
In recent years he changed over to the Continental chromatic-five row button Accordion- which is very popular in Eastern European countries and Europe.
He is generally at home playing Musette, Tango, Traditional Irish, swing and light classical.

John Whelan: Guitarist. {Spanish & acoustic}

Much in demand as a studio and live musician, he is capable of a variety of styles from Traditional Irish Music to Jazz, Gypsy and Latin.
The music from his debut album "End of Autumn" has been used extensively in Television documentaries for RTE and BBC.
John has toured and recorded with many artists, including: Mary Coughlin, Maire Breatnach, Lorraine Jordan and Sonny Condell, Faolan and Sean Kean. Arty Mc.Glynn and Steve Cooney, to name but a few.
John is also working with Puck Fair- a group formed by Flautist Brian Dunning {Night Noise, Jeff Johnston} He has toured in Denmark and the USA with Violinists Lars Kristensen and Classical Virtuoso Anker Buch
